Hi adlane, and Welcome to the Forum!
Yes, absolutely, the Church is every bit as real as other faith organizations. In Islam, insurance is forbidden as gambling. It's abundantly clear that no other person can lawfully decide for you how you are going to arrange your affairs, particularly around healing issues, where what is real for you are personal matters.
The Genesis II Church of Health and Healing is not seeking any "legal" status with the government, as a church exists at a higher level, closer to personal sovereignty, than any government. Once a church "applies" -- "submits" an application for legal status with government, it places itself UNDER the jurisdiction of the almost always de facto administrative system of private contract law. Under natural or common law, no one else can control your rights to contract with another human freely.
Hope that makes sense,
Bruce
