Jim has also learnt new things over the years, and adding baking soda to pure MMS1 is a must or you will lose your enamel. It has a very low pH value. My enamel is quite strong though Ive been using MMS1 every day for a few years already. And Mr. Humble himself advises to do so.

I have been using MMS ( pre activated ) to brush my teeth for over a year now and noticed about 2 weeks ago my teeth became really brown. I usually order the ( premixed activated solution ) but they were out of it so I ordered the mms and activator separate to mix myself and it is very strong . I had to cut way back on the drops due to its strength. Since using this new mix it myself solution I noticed my teeth turning brown. I do drink a lot of coffee and I’m thinking it’s removing my enamel or making it very porous which then I drink coffee and I believe that is the cause for me.
This is the only thing I did different was to order the 2 bottles that I now activate to use. I drank coffee before with the pre activated solution with no issues.
I’ll try adding baking soda to the mix and cut back on my coffee intake to see if it helps. I love mms and need to figure this out because I don’t like brown teeth.

If I remember correctly MMS1 is about 4 on the pH scale, where 7 is neutral. So as you can see MMS1 is very acidic.I have a similar situation:

Use CDS. The PH is neutral. It whitens your teeth or did for me. YMMV
CDS is not pH neutral. Measure the pH and you will measure about 4.5 pH. Read what the director of Andreas Kalcker's research center in Mexico has to say about this question in the PDF file below.

Longevity Tip: Take a Nap!
Published on: May 11, 2026
Eighty five percent of mammals, that is animals, take naps during the day. It is not really apparent if humans were meant to take naps or not, but children certainly take naps naturally. I personally have taken from 20 to 45 minute daily naps during my entire life. They keep one fresh. People often worry …

Importance of Stomach Acid
Published on: April 5, 2026
You have heard it said, “You are what you eat”, but in my opinion, it’s more accurate to say “You are what you absorb.” Stomach acid plays an important role in what nutrients you absorb from the food you eat. When someone is deficient in stomach acid the vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and other nutrients …
